After a long flight we come back home. Although it was a very tiring trip everything was wonderfull and it was worth to every minute. Angkor was the crown of the whole trip.

 As you know I have met PHY and I had really a special feeling towards her. As I promised to her here is the picture of her and I hope you can deliver it to her. I have also include a letter to her  and I hope that you can hand that also to her and I would love to write her continuously if you can give me her address or any other way that I can reach her.

Dear Phy

It was very short that I met you and then left you. I cannot forget your face and smile and your warmth is in my heart. 

I am so happy that I met you. You are so nice and so beautiful. You said my name so correct and so good and you voice is still in my ears.

I am now in my house. I live in Istanbul, Turkey and it is far far away from your place. Since two days it is snowing here and it is all white and very very cold. There are many things to do and I am working very hard. I am trying to look at the pictures I have taken. 

I want to write always to you and tell you what I do and to listen to you what you do. Hope to see you again.

Dear Guide and dear Driver,
Dear Khmer Angkor Tour Guide Association,

For the wonderful time we had in Angkor we want to thank you once more. It all started the evening of the 24th of october  at 6 pm in the Sojourn Boutique Villas Hotel with the excellent general outline of the guided tours the next two days and with the agreements we made
at that moment.

And then we started at 7.30 the next morning with the guided tours. With his knowledge, his language and his patience our very well informed guide made us understand a lot of the art and the history of the Khmer people.  There was always time to answer questions or to wait for us during lunch break or our visit to the museum.

Our skillful driver knew all the little problems of the road, had always an extra bottle of cold water available, was not afraid of a bit of mud or a bg puddle in the middle of the road and when we went to the traditional dance evening in the centre of Siem Reap, he waited
patiently till the performance was finished to take us back to our
hotel.

Our greatest experience in Cambodia was the human experience with polite, kind and modest people who are always ready to help. In that sense we can respect the Cambodians as marvelous people with a much higher level of civilization than the western world, if we are ready
to consider civilization as human quality.

Our great time in Cambodia is indeed also the result of the guide and the driver we had. They deserve to be praised as ambassadors of their country.

We wish Cambodia well, we wish the very good Tour Guide Association all the best and we finally want to stress once more that the 25th and 26th of October 2011 will remain for ever among the best days we have had.
